A bit about me

& why I started Pacific Building Inspections

Lets start right at the beginning. After completing an apprenticeship in carpentry I quickly realised I had developed a passion for building and renovating.

Shortly after, I started my first business running a small team of carpenters and apprentices carrying out carpentry contracting and small renovations, whilst gaining the necessary training and skillset to obtain my builders license. The business grew into a company (Will Build projects) employing over 10 carpenters and apprentices carrying out larger carpentry projects and high quality full house renovations.

After over 20 years in the industry I noticed a consistent issue. Clients were experiencing problems when purchasing their homes prior to renovations. The number of unknown or undiscovered issues with the building, even after having a pre purchase inspection completed in some cases.

When it was time to take a break from the tools, I decided to pursue this issue and Pacific Building Inspections was born, quickly becoming a new passion for myself.

My approach to building inspection is backed by years of skills you can only obtain through experience, to assist and leave no stone unturned when you’re making the biggest investment of your life.

I offer that eye for detail and knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC) and the Australian Standards through build stage and practical completion inspections of new builds and renovation, this ensures a ‘second set of eyes’ to ensure things are trouble free.
